Data Deletion — Asian Wedding Halls

This page explains how to request the deletion of your personal data from the Asian Wedding Halls app and website. You may use either method below.
Option 1 — Delete directly in the app
- Open the Asian Wedding Halls app on your device.
- Tap the More tab (bottom navigation).
- Tap Account.
- Scroll down and tap Delete Account.
- Confirm when prompted. Your account and all data are deleted immediately.
Option 2 — Delete via the website
- Sign in to your account at asianweddinghalls.co.uk.
- Go to Account → Delete Account in the sidebar, or visit this page directly.
- Enter your password and confirm deletion.
What data is deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently and immediately removed:
- Your profile — name, email address, username, profile photo
- Wedding checklist and wedding details
- Budget planner — categories and expenses
- Shortlisted suppliers (wishlist)
- Quote requests sent to suppliers
- Supplier manager entries
- All active login sessions and API tokens
Data that may be retained
- Transaction records — if you made a payment, financial records are retained for up to 7 years for legal and accounting compliance. These records do not include your login credentials or app activity.
- Anonymised analytics — aggregated, non-identifiable usage data may be retained.
