About The Live Notes

The Live Notes is a Manchester-based live wedding and corporate events band performing across the UK, scalable from a two-piece acoustic duo to a ten-piece show band with optional brass, percussion and up to three vocalists. For weddings it can provide acoustic ceremony music, drinks reception sets, two high-energy evening live sets and a complimentary DJ playlist until midnight; corporate bookings cover arrivals, awards ceremonies and after-parties with DJ and sax. The repertoire covers hits from the 1980s to today, and the site cites more than ten years of weddings and events and a 5.0 rating from 72 Google reviews. Line-ups and prices are supplied on enquiry. This is an entertainment act, not a venue.

Frequently Asked Questions

Use the "Request Pricing & Availability" button on this page. Add your name and email address, plus your event month and approximate guest numbers if you know them (a phone number is optional). Sending an enquiry costs nothing, you don't need an account, and it doesn't commit you to booking. We don't hold live availability or confirmed prices, so only the entertainer can confirm whether your date is free and what it will cost. Ask for both in writing.

Tell them the mix you want (for example bhangra, Bollywood, Punjabi, qawwali or fusion) and ask whether they take requests.

Ask how long the set or performance lasts, how many performers will come (for dhol, how many players they suggest for your guest numbers), and what they charge for overtime.

Ask whether they bring their own sound and lighting, whether their equipment is PAT tested, and whether they know your venue's noise limits and finishing time.

Ask how they will coordinate with your DJ, dhol players or MC on timings and entrances, and who runs the running order on the day.

This listing gives their location as Manchester. Ask whether they cover your venue's area and whether they charge for travel.

We save your enquiry and email it to the contact address on this listing, which for some listings is our own team's inbox, and to the team behind Asian Wedding Halls. We can't promise when or whether the entertainer will reply. Some listings are not yet managed by the business itself, so if you don't hear back, look the business up independently and contact it directly.

No. You can't book or pay on this page. Bookings, contracts, deposits and payments are agreed directly between you and the entertainer, and Asian Wedding Halls is not a party to that contract. Before paying anything, get a written contract showing the total price, the deposit, what is included, and the cancellation and refund terms. Paying by credit card may give you extra protection under Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974.
